Home Sweet Home!

A view from the air of our home.... and our new waterpark!!

It's amazing how much water there is around the place.

This (below) is lots of peoples new mode of transport!

The roads to school are badly damaged and still cut - so it looks like our children might not see school before the end of the year! 10.5 weeks holiday seems like a bit too much!

Now I need to get my boat out... row to town... to get my SSCS and Advent parcels posted. Sorry to my partners. Unfortunately I can't control the weather. Hopefully I can get back to town with them by the end of the week. Our little town is still cut off... so no mail in or out from there. Our bigger town which is almost 1.5 hours away with the state of the roads... it's just been opened. Fingers crossed I can get there shortly.

Oh you poor thing - Bad timing isn't it - I hope santa has filled his list or there will be some frantic shopping when you get to town.

Hi Maree, I do hope the water subsides quickly for you.. Mother Nature is so fickle... Hope there is not too much damage to your farm too...

I'm gobsmacked!! So much water. I really hope your home isn't badly damaged and that you can get the farm back up and running very soon. I'm hoping the water has subsided a lot since you posted too. Take care and be safe....
